· Staff Advisor (Sports) and organized best remembered sports festivals, 1984-89
· Co-convener, Degree Distribution Committee for Annual Day function, 1985-89
· Office-Incharge, Computer Centre, 1987-1995, and started computer facility in the college—first Medical College in India to start computerized payroll (1988), MedLARS search (1991 – gratis from NIC just when it arrived in India), email (1992 – gratis from DoE just when it arrived in India), and institutional website (1995)
· Providing India’s best known biostatistical services to the medical faculty and PGs, and helped raise the level of research and publications in the college, 1992-2010
· Continuing member of PG Cell for assessing protocol of PG theses, 1995-2010
· Convener, Souvenir Committee, and improved the souvenir from a 4-page folder to a comprehensive 80-page excellently produced book-size document, 1996-2005
· Prepared Annual Reports of the College, 1998-2010
· Coordinator, Medical Education Unit, 1999-2005
· Chairman, Computer Committee, and helped setup the computer network, 2002-2010
· Setup first Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics in the country, with integration of biostatistics and computer-related facilities, 2005. The model is now replicated by SGPGI (Lucknow) and JIPMER (Pondicherry) with similar departments.
